Work on our new October Access Agile Freestival is going well!!
Hello there… The caretaker here…
It is so exciting to be launching another Free Fun Festival of agile and getting the people all together to do talks, learn how to do talks and learn whilst being in those talks.
We are looking for mentors and if you want to join you can see them here at be an new speaker mentor. The Mentors will play a vital part in bringing on new speakers and helping them understand the agile community more and creating winning presentations. And it is great to see people from across the globe signing up for that, as well as some lovely people like David Snowden and Johanna Rothman. Sathpal, Shelby and Dov going to be creating a nice safe process around that.
We are excited to update our community policy Event safety and creating a safe environment is key.
We are simplifying our process and are looking for ways to use our meetup as our main tool. Mainly because it handles GDPR, Zoom links and circulates information very well.
We are still looking for new speakers and as always speakers are free to do what they want but we do like the idea of collaboration and perhaps doing talks with people you that don’t know well.
If you would like to know more about proposing an event please have a look here proposals
We are looking for more people, as always we have people coming and going. That is what makes things so vibrant. So we look for people that can help make art work, add events on to meetup and support the proposal process (We use Kanban Boards so it’s easy to work with those teams) and we have a Booster group that onward shares posts. anyone can join that at join the Whatsapp Social media group here
Once again a heartfelt shout out for all the volunteers that tirelessly work to find speakers host events and to make this a fun and inclusive event.
