The Game Without Thrones is a new social-reality platform based on descaling, autonomy in alignment, and zero command and control. Which sounds pretty far out but in fact it’s really simple. Here’s what attendees at this year’s XP2021 and Paris BACon conferences said after seeing it there:
* “I want my company working this way starting last week.” –– CIO
* “We don’t need more SAFe or Lean or whatever. We need this.” –– Program Manager
* “This will change how we work together all around the world. No more Zoom!” –– Enterprise Coach
You’ll discover how to apply
* The Leadership-as-a-Service patterns for team autonomy
* The Camelot Model to keep autonomous teams aligned
* The Descaling Metrics to accelerate learning flows
… and understand the utility of these things for business agility – meaning an organization’s ability to continuously adapt to changing market conditions. Which is a critical competitive advantage when you’re a band of Wildlings fighting off ice zombies, dragons, feudal armies, and so on. Also in our modern VUCA world which isn’t all that different, these days …
We have limited seating so a Meetup RSVP isn’t enough to get you in. Bookings are still free but you need to register at https://xscale.corsizio.com/c/613074bf216df8692a73afb4 . That will send you on-boarding videos and entry links, etc.
Peter was one of the twelve patrons of the Agile20Reflect festival. He’s Australia’s longest serving agilist, credited in the original XP book, created the first enterprise agile framework (XUP in ’99), and the first agile training games which he ran at the first agile conference (XP2K). He led transformations at GMAC and Websense in the US, and IAG, CBA and Ray White in Australia.
In 2015 Peter founded XSCALE Alliance as “the Linux of the Agile world”. Gartner recognized XSCALE in its 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 market guides for Enterprise Agility, and XSCALE coaches across a dozen world capitals are collaborating on developing it as an open learning ecosystem engaging banks, insurers, health and telco corporations.
