From Chaos to Calm with Personal Kanban

– you are easily distracted by emails, IMs and calls
– your to do list is spread across multiple places – postits, task apps, outlook
– you sometimes forget to do actions that are assigned to you
– you find it difficult to prioritise your work
In this hands on workshop I’ll share a system based on personal Kanban and lean principles that will help you to transform your working (and personal life) from chaos to calmness.
We’ll start off with a short time management self assessment quiz, then I’ll take you step by step through setting up your own personal Kanban board (using Trello, MS Planner, or even just some postits and a white board).
Once we’ve done this I’ll share the simple system that I use to quickly and easily prioritise my work – I’ve tried many methods over the last 20 years, and this is the only one that has stuck with me and been successful. I’ll also share some time management tips and an exercise you can use to relax your brain when you are feeling overwhelmed.
