This workshop will be in Dutch.
Is the following familiar to you?
During the Refinement session, the Product Owner explains the requirements. A developer asks a question and after it has been answered, the Scrum Team agree the requirements are clear and they also quickly agree on how it can be delivered and what the effort will be. Everything goes smoothly. A bit too smoothly perhaps.
Good conflicts are necessary to lead to innovative solutions. It is always good to look at things from different perspectives. Looking at things from only one point might lead to a solution, but not always the best solution.
A group who think alike might overlook obstacles and ideas. The idea of finding solutions by looking at it from different perspectives is what Edward de Bono presented as “the six thinking hats”, a team-based problem solving and brainstorming technique.
This technique also helps in team members opening up and respecting different opinions.
In this workshop the technique of “the six thinking hats of De Bono” will be explained and we will practice with this in discussions on the question: “”How can we measure the success of a Scrum Team? ”
Participants will learn how to use the six thinking hats of De Bono to look at challenges from a different perspective. They will also get some take-aways on the theme “”How do we measure the successs of a Scrum Team””.
