Purpose/Structure of The Workshop
This workshop is a confluence of two of my favourite ones done earlier. Namely, Essence of Scrum(Scrum from Customer Eyes) and Everyday Agile Leadership(Taking a leap of faith)
The first section is about assuming a role of a stakeholder and having a dream of a successful product in the market followed by a series of pictures and questions to assess if we really understand the basic purpose of doing scrum for the success of a customer/organisation.
After an intentional break of 5 minutes the next part is about how a Scrum Master can thrive in their role.
it begins with a metaphorical journey and joins the dots between Scrum Ceremonies and core purpose
Each part of the workshop is presented with the help of Prezi based Video Presentation. It makes it very easy to talk about multiple things and join them together. Here I present the real life challenges and ways to bring focus on outcomes over outputs.
Taking the discussion forward here I present to them the next metaphor of a map for this journey to be Evidence Based Management and a quick exercise on the go to assess if people are able to relate the concepts learnt in the workshop so far with the intended mindset.
During the workshop, a part is dedicated to introduce people to patterns that can be built in an organisation by practising scrum, giving participants high level goals of achieving things in an organisation.
A set of real life situations of working with teams and leadership and the importance of listening to the team members and forming partnerships with leadership, here.
Before concluding the session, there is a fun exercise that allows participants to wear a virtual spectacle of Agility and recite some Agile Affirmations together to guide participants in their day to day journey of building/improving agility.
By the end of the workshop, the attendees will be able to answer the below questions.
How do I align and discover things that makes sense as a scrum master
How do I be a leader who help build value over speed
How do I have a mindset that helps me lead everyday Scrum scenarios
How do I sense and improve areas that need change in an organisation
What do I surround myself to thrive as a Scrum Master
