Our Festival is dedicated to bringing people together from all over the world so everyone has an enjoyable experience, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.

We do not tolerate any harassment within this Festival in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate in any Festival forums, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. This will result in the immediate removal from any events, systems and participation. All events and associate events will adhere to our code of conduct in every way and that code of conduct will be reviewed regularly to address emerging issues.

This is a community event and we expect the participants to adhere to community guidelines. If there is something that does not align with your expectations, please bring it to us before you take it up to Social media. In the spirit of community collaboration,  we ask that you bring any conflicts to the attention of the organizers in a way that benefits the health of the community.

Everyone involved in the festival is requested to agree with the code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the festival. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Violation of these rules will result in expulsion from the Festival immediately.

If you are being harassed or witness someone else being harassed, please contact your local ambassadors. If it is not resolved at the region level, feel free to reach out to us here. You will hear from us within 24 hours.

Speaker Responsibilities

As you are crafting your talk, please consider these criteria –

  • Does my talk contribute to the overall health of the community?
  • Does my talk respect cultural sensitivity?
  • Is my talk being inclusive?

If you are considering being a speaker, ask yourself where you are not in alignment or unwilling to respect diversity in all its human forms (colour, gender, orientation).
